Kitten Konnection (KK) is a home-based foster care rescue for kittens six months of age and younger. KK began in January of 2023, under the umbrella of the Eaton County Humane Society (ECHS), to address the problem of stray and abandoned kittens that were being brought to ECHS’s low-cost spay/neuter clinic through the TNR program.

Kitten Konnection is now a 501(c)3 organization since October ?, 2024. Kittens accepted into the program are first brought to ECHS for a full medical evaluation, vaccinated if old enough and treated medically if needed. They are then placed in foster care homes to monitor growth, provide socialization and love. When the kittens are 2+ months old and medically stable they are ready for spay/neuter, testing and microchipping before adoption.

To date nearly 800 kittens have been saved from starvation, preditors and death and placed into safe, loving and forever homes.
